World Dog Show Madrid 2020 en Kerst Winner Show 2020 in hetzelfde weekend in december!

In verband met de uitbraak van Corona Virus is de Wereld Show 2020 wederom verplaatst en nu naar 17, 18, 19 en 20 december 2020. Op zaterdag 19 en zondag 20 december a.s. organiseren wij onze jaarlijkse Kerst Winner Show. Als organisatie bestuderen wij de opties omtrent het betreffende weekend en de eventuele mogelijkheden rondom de organisatie van ons event.

 

• Het is momenteel nog onzeker hoe de organisatie van grote evenementen, na 1 september in Nederland georganiseerd mogen worden.

• Bieden de dan actuele richtlijnen en regels voldoende mogelijkheden om op een verantwoorde wijze een hondententoonstelling te organiseren is nu nog niet bekend.

• Als organisatie kunnen wij pas na het bekend worden van deze regels beoordelen of wij hier aan kunnen voldoen én op een wijze die recht doet aan de historie en verwachtingen bij deze show.

• De uiteindelijke beslissing om de show wél of niet te organiseren, is mede van bovenstaande inzichten afhankelijk.

• Mocht de organisatie mogelijk zijn, dan zouden wij kunnen besluiten om de Kerst Winner Show hetzelfde weekend als de WDS in Spanje te laten plaatsvinden. Immers lang niet alle mogelijke exposanten gaan naar de WDS in Madrid. Wij denken dat wij nog steeds een hele mooie inschrijving kunnen realiseren tijdens onze show in Nederland.

• Wij zouden de Kerst Winner naar een ander weekend in november, december 2020 of januari 2021 kunnen verplaatsen, er vindt dan geen overlap plaats en exposanten hoeven geen keuze te maken tussen 2 titel shows in hetzelfde weekend.

Vanuit de actuele landelijke situatie is het nog onzeker of wij in 2020 een Kerst Winner Show kunnen gaan organiseren.

Aangezien wij ook qua organisatie nog voldoende voorbereidingstijd hebben, zullen wij mogelijke scenario’s de komende periode bespreken om het moment dat er bekend is dat wij in Nederland weer grootschalige evenementen mogen organiseren. De landelijke en mondiale ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden zullen wij leading laten zijn bij onze uiteindelijke beslissing.

World Dog Show Madrid 2020 & Christmas Winner Show 2020 at the same weekend in December!

 

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the World Dog Show 2020 has been postponed again to another date, which will now be 17, 18, 19 and 20 December 2020. On Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of December 2020 we will also be organizing our annual Christmas Winner Show. The Christmas Winner organization is currently looking into a number of options regarding this particular weekend and the possibilities concerning the organization of our event.

• At this moment its very uncertain how the organization of large events possibly will and can take place after September 1st. in the Netherlands. Will the actual guidelines and rules at that time offer sufficient possibilities to organize a dogshow in a responsible manner? As an organization we can only wait for these rules to be published and decide at that time if we can fulfill them in a way that does justice to the history and expectations of this show. The final decision on the go-ahead of this show is partly depending on these insights.

• If the organization of the Christmas Winner Show would be possible, we could decide to have the show take place in the same weekend as the WDS in Spain. Not all possible exhibitors will be travelling to the WDS in Madrid. We think we can still realize a good number of entries during our show in the Netherlands.

• Another option would be to organize the Christmas Winner Show at another weekend in November, December 2019 or January 2021. In that case there will be no overlap and exhibitors don’t have to make a choice between 2 title shows in the same weekend.

• Looking at the current national situation it’s still unsure if we will be able to organize a Christmas Winner Show in 2020. We will keep you posted regarding all developments.

Since we will have enough preparation time as an organization, we will discuss the above scenario’s in the coming period and the national and European developments and possibilities will be leading in our final decision.
